Mid process of polyurethaning

Our team at Baker Floor Refinishing LLC  has been doing wood floor  refinishing throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts for over 30 years.  Here are some maintenance tips to help keep your floors at their best for years to come.

  • Vacuum as needed, to keep sand, dust, dirt, etc., off your floors.
  • Remember, the more sand between your foot and the floor acts as sandpaper and therefore, wears the finish down at a much faster rate.
  • Do NOT use any chemicals on your floors.  Damp mop or use a cloth (water only) to clean the floors.
  • Re coating your floors is much cheaper and easier than having to sand completely
  • A Re coat is a one day process and should be done when the shine in your traffic areas have dulled.
  • Remember, once the shine dulls then dirt can start to work its way into the grain,\ which will start to turn black and then you have to sand them.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our team at Baker Flooring LLC  at (860) 684-1309 or in Massachusetts (413) 734-6026.
